Rare item for a bargain?

I don't know how rare it actually is, but it seems very rare to me. I had never seen it before but in catalogues.
I won it in an auction for 3 pounds and received it today :love: :love: :love: :love: :love:
It was a bargain wasn't it?  ???
Anyway, I LOVE IT!!

I've seen them go for more than this; in fact I've been outbid a number of times on ones like this and similar ones and I was bidding more than you paid.  :(
So yes. I think you did well and it was a bargain.

there were others from this series from the same seller, but those went for a lot more... around 12 pounds each  ;D

That gnome series has a lot of really cool sets in it. You really found a nice one, tonguello. I think these normally are quite rare, indeed.
