Say... that's really interesting, and very well done...
It reminds me of the Holy Company, back in the 1821 Greek Revolution, which I think was formed after a French Company?

Its good to read some history from time to time  :hmm:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Totenkopf

http://el.wikipedia.org/wiki/%CE%99%CE%B5%CF%81%CF%8C%CF%82_%CE%9B%CF%8C%CF%87%CE%BF%CF%82_(1821)

and I translate and quote:

Men of the Sacred Band were infantry equipped with rifles and bayonets and cavalry with swords. They wore uniforms that were a mixture of Greek and European suits made of black fabric, also wearing black shako with a tricolor plume, (representing a national emblem), below which the phrase Freedom or Death was written, along with the sign of the skull with cross bones which symbolises victory over death.

The skull with crossbones symbolising victory over death is a greek cultural symbolism. So I guess their uniform was modeled after the Prussian one: http://www.militaryheritage.com/prussianuniforms.htm

But what is so great about playmobil customs is that, your customs, cheng, can be both a tribute to the Prussian uniform, as well as being used for representing pirates. Depends on the point of view :)
