Sealife Set Bargain
« on: May 08, 2012, 16:09:14 »
A couple of weeks ago I bought this on ebay...

It was advertised as new in box but the photo showed the figures loose so I wasn't too sure what to expect.
When it arrived it was in the sealed brown Playmobil box and inside everything was sealed in bags...

This is what it contained....

I got it all for £7 + £2.80 postage   :yippee:
I think that was quite a bargain as new from the Playmobil web site it would have cost me £32.50 (not including the cayman and keeper)

The seller was selling quite a few of these, however when I realised that they actually were what they said there was only one more left, however managed to get that one also, but for £11, but I still think it was a good buy  ;D

I've never seen or heard of these sets being sold together before.  I presume they were a ds add on but does anyone know any more about it?
It says "Sealife set TTS 2011" on the box.

I just have to do an underwater scene at Kirkbean now

Fantastic bargain, Elaine! The whales are great :cloud9:! Now you need several more of each to make a pod. ;)

That is a nice little bundle indeed, Elaine :)9

Are all these animals still available from DS? perhaps they just bundled them into these lots to shift them ???

Damo :)

Poor clicky that came with it, can't blame him for staying in the box with all those big crocodiles.

Yes, they are still on as accessories - down as wild animals.  Except for the cayman and keeper.

Has no one else come across this set before?
The seller had at least four to sell, maybe more, I wonder how he came by them that he could sell them so cheaply?
I'm not complaining though   Perhaps it's better not to ask questions!  :toot:  :shhhh:
