Some Halloween Photos
« on: October 29, 2006, 04:10:12 »
I have my Haunted Castle about half finished and it looks like it wont get done. A quick conversion to the Christmas Castle is sure to follow.

Here are some photos I took earlier this month working on another project.

WOW!!!! :wow:

These photos are fantastic, Tim!
They really help to get me in the spirit for Halloween. :D

The B&W shots look just like scenes taken from an old horror movie! 8-)
I have to know.... how did you create the mist? Is it digitally manipulated? Very effective, in any case. :yup:

Wow  :o These are cool!

I especially like the skeleton with the cape and the hat -- reminds me of Baron Samedi (Live and Let Die, 1973).

And the tombstones -- absolutely fabulous! Where do you have them from?

Excellent, Tim, and the black and white shots are very atmospheric.

GREAT PHOTOS, TIM ... !!!

I, too, really love those "old" black and white pictures!

It was a bit scary until I saw the "damsel in distress" and started thinking that she will probably be a caroler in your Christmas scene ... ;)

Thanks for putting us all in a Halloween mood.

All the best,
Richard

Thanks for the kind words.

The mist/fog is fake fog from my fog machine. The only problem with it, is that it is actually warm so wants to rise rather than settle the way dry ice fog would. Thankfully the machine has a tethered remote control.

The tombstones I bought last year on clearance from a fabric store after Halloween. They are part of a Halloween village set similar to the Christmas villages. They were just the right size for Playmo so I had to have them.

It was fun. Next year I will get the castle done in time.
