"Honeymoon in Africa"

Here's an old photostory from 2005. I decided to re-post it for those who missed it back at the old Playmofriends 7 years ago.

It’s sunrise in Africa.  Fred and Priscilla, the newlyweds, arrive in this wonderful land.  They await the arrival of Kumongo, a local friend, who will take them to Ngorongoro Station where they will be staying for their honeymoon.





Kumongo finally arrives.  Fred and Priscilla are happy to see him.

[Luis]

Kumongo is the assistant to Dominique, the station master at Ngorongoro station.





More about Fred and Priscilla:  They are from England and visiting Africa for two reasons.  The first, of course, is to enjoy their honeymoon.  But, they are also in search of three of their friends who are lost in the jungle.  Fred and Priscilla are an odd couple. 

Priscilla:  Oh!  What a beautiful car.  I’m going to drive it.
Fred: No, Priscilla, don’t touch it!  That’s Mr. Kumongo’s jeep.
 

[Luis]

Soon, they started on their journey to the Ngorongoro station, passing through the savannah…





They finally make it to their first destination: The Ngorongoro Station. There Dominique the safari ranger waits for them, along with Lulu, the girl chimp.

[Luis]

Dominique, Fred, and Priscilla had been friends a long time.  Lulu was so eager to see Priscilla!  She had a lovely flower to give to her.

[Luis]

They hurried to greet each other for it had been much too long since they had seen each other.

Fred & Dominique:  Long time no see!
Priscilla: It’s so nice to see you again, Lulu!





While Fred and Dominique hurried off to talk about things, Priscilla encouraged the safari rangers who were helping with the luggage.

Priscilla:   Come on guys!  You can do it!  Phew!  It’s a good thing we didn’t bring very much luggage.

[Luis]

Later that day, Dominique showed them a map that had the route that their lost friends Igor, Penelope, and Sebastian had taken.  The map showed the route to a lost temple in the jungle with treasure inside where the three missing adventurers should have arrived.  Unfortunately, Priscilla and Fred were distracted and didn’t pay attention to what Dominique was saying.

Dominique:   Look guys, this is the route that Igor, Penelope, and Sebastian took.  They must be lost now as they haven’t come back and we haven’t heard from them for a while.  I can’t leave the station right now so it’s a good thing that you chose to use your honeymoon to look for them.

Priscilla:   Oh Lulu, how have you been?

Fred:  Look Priscilla!  A parrot!   Is it yours, Dominique?

[Luis]

Without showing his anger, Dominique went to the car and put a copy of the map he had tried to show them in it.  He didn’t want them to get lost the way their other friends had.

Dominique:  They didn’t even listen!





When Dominique left, curious Lulu went to jeep to see what was in there, maybe she thought she would find something to play with…so she decided to choose the map as her toy and took it with her.

[Luis]

Later, without realizing the map was missing, Fred and Priscilla left the Ngorongoro station and made their way to the jungle to look for their lost friends Igor, Penelope and Sebastian.

Priscilla: See you later alligators!!





During the trip, they had to cross the savannah where they got to see wild animals… which we all love to do, don't we?

[Luis]

Priscilla: Oh, this is something one doesn’t see everyday darling.
Fred: Stop talking and keep recording!





Priscilla: Were we have a creature called wildee, wild something...er Fred what are they called again??
Fred: "Wild Beasts"!
