Archers becoming Conquistadores

As soon as I first saw the new archer-Special Plus, what is in the picture was what I had in mind of doing with them.
The legs didn't turn out as nice as I thought (with those redorange boots), and the figures didn't look right, so I painted the boots black...

and happy to know that there are more fellow collectors who will paint to correct those ridiculous boots in red, green etc

Actually, Playmobil put the wrong torsos on the wrong figures imho: the Conquistador-Special 4742 should have gotten a red torso instead of a green one, and this Special+ 4762 should haven gotten the green one from 4742  8}


@ Kenc:

You didn't happen to drop by at the big Carrefour-marketstore te Oostakker past weekend or so, to buy "a few" of these?   :P
I went there to get a few of the 4762 archers (the new special +'s were in promotion; buy 2 and get a 3rd for free), but the archers were all sold out... :'(
Someone (I assume an "unknown" collector or an ebay-reseller) quickly bought up all the archers, all the other Special+'s were still there! :hissyfit:
