Well done!  :)9  I like the innerplaces you created!  8-)

Myself I skipped this castle (also the Red Dragons' one) and decided to go for the present versions...

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

After looking closely, looks like the only steck is the house.

By gum, Elric, I think you are right!

I was fooled by the tower windows.  I'da put money on the towers being steck.  Nope.  Just old windows.  I'd forgotten the windows were compatible.

Really clever work, Vauban!

Every time I look at this, it just reminds me of how cool it is. This is excellent, Vauban. The detail is just great. ;)

Many thanks for all your nice comments

To the questions:

it is only one castle 3268, but 4 wall extensions B 7836 and 3 tower extensions 7761 . And of course I used several brown baseplates and a medieval house made of steck. The upper yard is build with five baseplates 4 x 4 and eight 4 x 6.

The basement is empty. There is not enough place betwen the table and the wall to play.  :-[

@Hadoque: I don't like the new lion castle (or the smaller falcon castle). The look great and make a lot of fun to play with. But it is terrible to build with them. There are no baseplates, useful connectors or walls. You need a saw and glue to build with these parts.  :hmm:

Greetings

Vauban

Wow, you certainly did a lot with only those seven extensions.

I don't like them either. When I saw them at first, I was happy to see new castles with the hope that they could be used alongside my Eagle castle, but they are so much different, with the strangely shaped parts that you speak of.

Impressive !!!!!!!!!

Eventhough i have declared war to system x   :P :P :P  , this castle is most forbitable and the attention to detail commendable !!! I really like the higher level areas to the right with all the towers etc and some of the details are truly awesome.

A great castle set up i just cant wait and hope to see same battles in and around that castle. a siege even !!!!

Excellent work sire
:knight: Steck is Holy . Bring back more steck sets and its guardians , the Nuremberg Guards :knight:
