I don't really like the idea of "mystery" figures much either, though it probably does allow you to get the ones you want for the effort of feeling for them. Otherwise, I'd assume all the good ones would be taken first.

Oh you mean that old law of "supply and demand"

Not everyone has the same demand and it would let geobra know what is selling to whom, where and what is not. Here they will mistakenly think they are all selling the same.

To me it was just a way to try and capitalize on the heals of Lego and that to me is the wrong aproch. Playmobil is different and they need to keep that distinction alive. If they keep doing it people might think that playmobil is just that silly company who copies Legos all the time.
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

I love trying to guess what they are, I think that is the fun bit

My local shop doesn't mind me spending ages feeling all the bags, it's just my husband and sons who object saying I embarrass them

Even when I get them home I still feel them all again to guess what they are before I open them; if I bought a box it would take me days to open them all

If I can't find any of the figures by feeling them, I can always buy them off ebay, but so far I've been 90% correct.

I just got confused by one that I thought was the cheerleader because I could feel more than one round object but it turned out to be an extra head!

Same here, although it could be a waste of time... the looks people give you while touching and feeling the bags could be embarrassing but its also hilarious

A shop owner told me some months ago, while searching for series 1, ''if you get all the good ones, my children clients will be dissapointed with the ones you are leaving behind'' meaning I touch and feel the good ones and I leave all the uninteresting ones  :-[

Sorry to hear you did not get what you were looking for, Jeremy, but next time, try some touching and feeling  :)

Well my kids love it as I made a game out of it. They are always correct, too bad for my wallet.

The one thing that I wonder about is after I am trying to figure them out the foil wrapper starts looking rather krinkled. The shops must not appreciate the state of the package afterwards.

Watch geobra put in a card board sleeve which will make it that much harder to isolate a particular piece  ;)

aww i'm sorry for her, Jeremy

maybe you should try to feel for what's inside the bags by touching?

at least you have a big cheerleading crew!

Or they could just put them in small cardboard boxes!

With hindsight, it was obvious you were not going to get a random mix of figures when ordering them one by one unopened. Instead of buying 49 bags, you ought to have purchased the full box with 48 figures. You don't get 4 units of all 12 figures, of course, but nobody has felt the bags before you! I guess they sell the leftovers from their shop this way!
Sorry for Emmy and Fanny, though.
BTW, I could use one or two of the knights if you don't. You know, for spares…
Best,
A.

i agree with you Rasputin : not only lego ... i was the first to do a tomb raider and an elvis and the director of marketing ask me to not sell it with this name ...

Arnaud : you're probably right but difficult to be sure , i just write them to say i stop buy with them now because it miss 8 figures on 12 on the girls bags and it's a very very little probability ... the elvis and the white princess are sold the double on ebay ! playmobil will always let seller warm people with his political of marketing so stupid ... no problems if you want knights !!

Louis : my daughter are like me : she don't like pom pom girls , there're always shows as supid girl on the fims ...

Skypurr and Wolf knight : yes i will be more patient next time but i'm not the kind of man running on the supermaket to be the first touching theses bags ... I know when i will be there for the 3 serie , there won't be english anymore ...

i will try this on ebay tonight ....  claude francois is a french singer
