Dear ladies and gentlemen! I’m afraid my associates will have to restrain you in one side of the office, we don’t want you in our way!! The people of this office will remain in their seats...

Good morning, Mr Francis!! We gentlemen of business have arrangements to discuss!

For my fish of course!!! This has all been worked out far in advance, Francis! You are merely the last tiny cog in my grand design…


So don’t speak to me again! Ok?

By the way, I must say, what beautiful flowers you have here, Francis! Did you manage to get you head off your paperwork and smell them today?
 

Anyway, as I was saying, since every fish in Gotham now bears my famous and frankly fabulous face, I should be getting a profit from every fish product sold!!! And since I plan to continue dumping the chemical that gives the fish my face, the little finnies are permanently identified to me!!! No matter what they once were, they are Joker-fish now!!!


This way, I’ll get a cut for every fish sale!! Let’s say, a nickel per fish sandwich, 50 cents for sardines, millions of dollars per day to finance my eccentric life-style!!!
 

So, which of your tedious copyright forms do I fill out first? …. You may speak now!!
Nobody can copyright fish or even fish-faces… they are natural resource…


But they share my unique face!!! Colonel what’s-his-name has chickens, and they don’t even have mustaches…


I can’t help it… it’s the law…


Oh…? trying to cheat the Joker, are you? Well, we’ll see who has the last laugh….


You! have until midnight to change your mind, Francis, or you’ll be the poorest fish of all…


Come on boys! We have other business to attend to…

The Laughing Fish was first published in Detective Comics # 475, February 1978, written by Steve Englehart. It was reintroduced in the forty-sixth episode of Batman: The Animated Series in 1993.

The Playmobil Joker custom was created by none other than our own Arnaud Cowabounga!!! Magnificent work, Arnaud!!! Truly amazing custom!!! Thank you for this work!!!

Elaine, Francis is actually two klickies: the entire 30 00 5052 - Groom's man, brown hair, grey suit, orange tie but with the head of 30 00 5252 - Man, brown hair, glasses, yellow V-neck sweater I tried to give him the appearance the original Francis had  :)
