Hello everyone! This photo story is the first one of five that shows the introduction of Playmobil City Fire Department’s District 2 being shown for the first time. It is kind of a mirror image of District 1, with 5 stations numbered 21, 22, 23, 24, & 25. Station 21 is located in the center region of District 2. Station 21 has 4 engines with one of them known as E2 that is a reserve engine that’s always available to transfer to a sister station that has one of their engines out of service for repairs or maintenance work. The engines are numbered E211, E212, E213, E2, the Tower Ladder in Station 21 is TL214, with SUV 2181, Specialty Trailer ST21A, water tanker T2, Chief 2 response car, Arson Response Car 219, & HAZ MAT team are all assigned to Station 21. Playmobil City Emergency Medical Services Paramedic Supervisor MS2, PCEMS MotorCycle Medic MCM21, & PCEMS Mobile Intensive Care Unit M21 are all assigned to Station 21 also.
Station 22 is positioned on the most eastern edge of Playmobil City & it is responsible for fire, & rescue calls in that call area. Station 22 is in the direct vicinity of the Playmobil Rail Road cargo depot. There are railroad tanker & cargo flat cars with hazardous materials always being transported through that location. The Heavy Rescue unit HR227 is assigned to this station,
Station 23 is the station that is located in the Playmobil Mountain range & where the Playmobil County Emergency Services High Altitude Rescue Team is assigned. This team has 4 4WD vehicles & team members that specialize in dog search, & high altitude rappelling rescues.
Station 24 is located on the District 1 & 2 border close to Playmobil City International Airport, & is on the airport’s automatic response call list for any emergency call involving, fire, rescue or aircraft related incidents.
Station 25 is located in a heavy residential area, & is responsible for responding to all dwelling & small business fire & rescue incidents.
This is the story, I hope you like it!

It looks great BB! Really enjoy seeing all your customized vehicles, I run out of adjectives to describe your collection! Keep them coming, can't wait to see all of it.

Nice to see this station equipped with basketball goals too. This crew will have more to do in their down time than running around outside swordfighting with sticks, as I saw some firefighters doing outside their station recently.

In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.

Maybe they were being refilled or examined, and they just needed a car to return them to their owners...? ;)

Maybe, although most of the time FDNY firefighters carry an extinguisher with them during an inspection when first on scene of a fire, just in case it's small before they stretch hose.

Could be special foam extinguishers used for hazardous response?

Yes, they could be Class D extinguishers that are needed to extinguish old VW bug engines on fire that were manufactured with magnesium that water would not work on. But, I always considered that particular Smart car being used by inspectors & if a business didn't have proper placement of extinguishers they would charge for installation under consignment of a fire extinguisher rental company. ???
