Katabami samurai project halted
« on: February 29, 2012, 08:42:52 »
We all been seeing Cowabounga(etc)'s colourful knights.....He made these nice samurai stickers for me almost a year ago....now I know why I hesitated for so long :P
...not as easy as those slide-on decals we used on our model planes ;D

I was planning to make arquebusiers for my samurai army :-\
any idea how I can save these? :'(

i think they look alright... heads and headgear pending of course... would work well i think if you could use the same color grey as the pants... or else white for the headgear and it would balance out the color...
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.

They don't look bad. Was there some sort of printing on that torso before though? Maybe try to remove that before applying these. :)

thanks for your helpful suggestions Baron!

I'll try not to wipe out these stickers...quite a waste if I do and I feel awfully regretful with apologies to Cowabounga...will temporarily complete them.

didnt think of grey torsos :P
as for their iron hats...those we see in reference books were mostly black or red...I'll look up again ;D

thanks too Pyynedor (they look quite ok in the photos :P)

yes...it wasnt a plain blue torso....I was hoping to use the printed white neck lines as their layers of japanese 'shirts'
I didnt want a plain fully-covered neck :(

Ah, I see what you meant then. It just seems that the stickers were a bit too transparent for that. ;)
