Playmo fair in Luxemburg
« on: October 06, 2006, 16:02:23 »
Hi,

This weekend (october 7 & 8)there is a Playmo fair at the Salle des Fêtes, Rue de Sélange in Clemency in Luxemburg. On saturday it will be from 14:00 til 18:00 and on sunday from 10:00 til 17:00. I have no idea how big it is, but I'm planning on visiting it on sunday....

Well, I've returned from the Luxplaymodays in Luxemburg (near the belgium border) and it was quite nice! It was a good three and a half hour drive 8} (and took a few wrong turns also), but I eventually found it... 8-) Here is a link to some photos of it (not mine):

I got myself a MIB 3491 firemen set and a Karstadt Truck set:

So I didn't come there in vain... ;)

Absolutely green with envy (as usual) that you were able to attend this fabulous event, Jean-Luc. Looks like there were some quite rare vintage items on offer. 8-)

I've just come back from a short holiday to England. The closest I came to uncovering Playmo treasure was finding a second-hand, boxed Zoo set (3242) at a boot sale in Stafford. ::)

At £4.00, it was quite reasonably priced, but I didn't buy it because the box was water-damaged and sealed with cellotape. Arghh! 8}

Glad that you found something that made the journey to Luxemburg worthwhile! ;)
