And especially for Sylvia, who always likes behind-the-scene information  ;D

Just note my brand-new camera cable release ...  ;)

Wow, Jochen, you've certainly been busy!  Five more excellent photos of avatars in the gallery, and a great behind the scenes shot. Great work!

Is that camera a new one by Playmobil or one of your customs, btw?

Not really. These avatars had been standing around for quite a while, waiting to be set in scene  :-[

Thank you for the praise. I'm still a little bit undecided about me new "studio lightning" and the quality of colors in the photos ...  :hmm: :-\

Anyway, thank you for the praise  :D

It's the standard camera from Playmobil, just given an aluminium case (some paintings), so you can say it's a custom work, if you like. The cable release is also a custom work (30 03 4550), although not that time consuming than the painting itself  ;)

I already used this camera in my BBQ photo story; there it is shown from the front.

It seems to me like the sort of light you get on a cloudy day so the colours are strong but there are no shadows, although macgayver's pic does seem to have a little shadow.

Surely, though, you've made it into a digital camera - isn't that an LCD screen on the back, or is it just the end of the film box to remind you what film you are using?

All of the new additions to the gallery look great! :D  8-)

I think your 'mi-chi' looks much better than mine - definitely neater paintwork, that's for sure. ;)

Also lovin' the modern camera with preview screen and cable! Very neat little custom piece! 8-)

Yes, I placed two 10.000 K neon lights above the scenery, so there will be almost now shadow due to the large lightning area. I wonder, if the 10.000 Kelvin is the "wrong" thing. For sure the colors are bright, but somethings disturbs me. Natural light is given with about 6.500 K, so maybe I should look after such a bulb.

  No, not the end of the film box, it's a display (although it's some digital art, putting Heather avatar pic electronically into the photo).

Excellent digital camera custom there, Jochen.  Looks just the job.  (I wonder if and when Playmobil will follow your lead?)
