It's the wheel (crank) to hoist the anchor on a ship

30 60 9340 - Crank to hoist anchor; double hook, triple hook for rigging sails

Oh so the new spool has the crank on it, they are one and the same part! Interesting...

I think I have a theory... I was looking the other day to find the part number for a sail hook and discovered that the partnumber is used to include more parts than the hook itself...

Like: 30 61 4420 - Crank to hoist anchor; hooks for sails and 30 60 1440 - Mast and rigging attachments... I see now that 5135 also has the hook listed with the crank... 30 51 1560 - Hook with loop, double-ended S-shaped hook so maybe the mould produces all the hooks and cranks but there is no use for the crank... no way to go around it, changing the mould, so you are stuck with an extra crank... :eh?: make sense?
