Looking for a white belt
« on: February 04, 2012, 01:46:00 »
Hallo
Does anyone know if this belt has ever been available in white?

i used the search engine at playmodb but that particular piece doesn't come loose, it's part of the figure - the only white one i found under 'white belt' is this version:

any help will be much appreciated

There's this belt - I think it's white, but there doesn't seem to be a part number for it.

k4800a - Ghost pirate, long grey hair, green coat with red trim, bare feet

That one's belt is lightgrey, and it has a different clip to hold weapons (open instead of closed).

I don't think I've ever seen the specific belly-belt Luis is looking for in white.

There is a similar belt in white to the belt from the bearskinhat-guard;
it is the same but without the shoulder-strap and comes with the captain from the white schooner-ship 3740 (US 3055):

I wasn't sure whether it was`white or not - it's hard to tell from the photo.

Hey! Hey! Panos! For once I know something you don't! Let me enjoy this for a while…

OK, now. I did see that belt once. The guy who had it didn't know where it came from.
Luis, you should check the Playmobil color sets. Good luck!

   Are you sure Arnaud? I really doubt it it was a genuinely produced playmobil belt... There was a seller on ebay who produced white accessories a couple of years ago, when I asked him about them, he said he is making them himself, such as completely white, long, scalloped hem horse caparisons. Maybe he did produce belts too...

Luis I doubt you'll find anything in the color sets...this type of belt came out a lot later than the color sets stoped being produced  ;) In fact, i think these belts first appeared in 4505 - Prince which came out in 1994, while color sets production ceased in 1993.

On the other hand, if such a white belt exists, its probably either a prototype, or issued on a give away, or a promotional color figure (2001-2008).

There is no such belt in the sets that, at least, I know they are produced after 2008:

But there may be one on such a klicky that I am not aware of  ???

... but he doesn't work really good with a knight sword.  :-\ That's my opinion.
