WoT: I, too, vote for anything Asian...don't care whether it is realistic or not. Yall can always build all the realistic characters and sets you want.

Samurai, temples, fortresses, teahouses, gardens, boats, bicycle/rickshaw combos like you see in Beijing these around Houhai just north of the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, terra cotta type warriors, dragon kites, geisha, silk stores, palaces, horses, mah jong sets, tai chi enthusiasts and ballroom dancers (like you find in all the public parks), butcher stores, electric motorbikes, communal baths, restaurants with rice bowls, soy sauce and chopsticks, and families with more than one plain Asian face please. Let 'er rip, Pgal
After two decades of male toys (esp. Lego and PM) in our house, it is time to build something for us women!

There were several wars between the two countries,
So they sort of do.

In the last hundred years, yes.  Well, PMB has never been particularly historically accurate, so I suppose it will work.   :(
However, I'm just not real keen on mixing cultures like that.

btw i read somewhere in another translation that there'd be a new child size (a "4-year-old one") whose size would be between the current child and the baby ???

I would love that. I've been wishing for a long time they would do at least one more kid size. I think one between the current size and adult would be great, kind of a tween. I'm tired of every family in my zoo having kids the exact same age.

In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.

i actually like to have standard sizes - playmobil has always had this 'complex simplicity' that makes more sizes unnecessary to me ???

No, since the 12th century. (Maybe before then even, I can check.)
The wars were based in Korea, but they featured Japanese and Chinese troops.
