5972 carrying case knights (also in europe?)
« on: January 17, 2012, 18:33:30 »
On Klickywelt I've just found more info about the 5972 carrying case with red/yellow and blue knight; they had a link to an Italian site where the set is mentioned as new at 12,99 euro,
so I guess it will also be available in Europe. :yippee:

There are also great images of other new sets (most already know for 1st half of 2012 in Europe)

If it becomes available here, it will probably be late next year... if not later this year  :-\

That red and yellow knight with the Fleur de Lys. Piece of cake! I can make one. Though I think the yellow reins are new. And…is that a new helmet he's wearing? Not sure with the visor up.

I do hope they make it here, I like the "Fleur de lys" knight, my French troops need some more men against the English or Flemish, lol! ;)

You know Arnauld, I posted somewhere here that it looked like they ripped your designs off for this knight.  It may not be an exact copy, but he sure does look like something you would create!

Cool!!   8-) Can I order such a horse with "cape", Arnaud?
I still have to send you the detailed info and original ship-stickers for making the "Golden Hind"-ship ones, when I (ultimately  ::)) find enough time to do that, I'd be glad if you also could make me such a horse for the knight from that set!  :-[

Hey! Thanks. This was a rough, I could make it better, providing I can see a better picture of the case.
@Erwin: I made some research on my side. There are actually two Golden Hind reproductions in London. One has this at the aft:

About the horse caparison, I mad several other sketches for this one and I can also try the other knight from this set. The quartered coat of arms might look nice on a horse... ;)
