Harbour Cafe + Ferry
« on: January 14, 2012, 14:49:09 »
As promised, here are some photos of the recent FP purchases... and a couple of extra items...

Photos of the Harbour Cafe (5128) & Garden Fence (7292)

Close up of mother and child... she came in with about 4 extra bracelets... so she's wearing them all! You can never have too much jewelry!  :P

Close up of Jean Pierre, the owner of the Cafe... I'm starting to weave a whole story about him...

Back side of the building... it is a very cute little building with lots of potential... the fence is ok, it is NOT red as it appears in the photos on the PM website.
Still, it's a good one... has two gates, a single and a double one.

Here's the Harbour Ferry... side view

Front View...

Side view and dock... someone loading up their car and jetski...

And look who it is! It's EmGee and JayBee!

Corner Store... I think this will become EmGee's Art Gallery

And here's a group of new buddies that arrived at our home during the last couple of weeks...

Great purchases, that cafe looks very versatile and I just love the scooter.

I love how it looks like the pirate is eyeing those groceries in the shopping cart as if its treasure.  :)

The ferry is a bit of an odd set, its beautifull but I do wonder how often kids would use it during play. It's definatly perfect for diorama's though.

Great review! Could we get a view of the interior furniture of the cafe?

I think kids would use the ferry all the time. Load up your cowboys on their horses to go across to the other side for a stop at the cafe, then take some cattle back across and so on.

Great pics, Em Gee.  I think I would like to spend a lot of time at that cafe!  I really like the shutters on the window.   ;)

Great review, and great photos.  I will wait just a few weeks to see if my local toy shop is selling them at not too much of a mark up, and if not, I see another order adding up quickly.

They're really cute.. The ferry is one of the sets I'm REALLY trying to resist. I have NO IDEA why I really like it...

(I think the red scooter is part of it.. we have a bunch of green ones... )

Nice pics-  I really like the cafe, though the waiter's suit with short sleeves is either a little trashy or a little flamboyant  ;D

Here you go Tim... One shelf unit, a tray for flatware, two ice cream sundays, two goblets, serving tray, six green bottles + crate, apple and orange juice cartons, small table, umbrella, 3 folding chairs (why only 3 I'll never know!  ???), a potted plant and two red birdies.

Yeah, I tried NOT to get it... but failed. :)
The Harbour Police station... I really like it, but the building itself is kind of small... not much room inside for what I had planned for it... might still get it, along with the Catamaran.
Can't wait til it warms up, so I can take some photos of the Ferry in my pool.

Excellent pictures! Thanks! These sets look great. I really like the mom and the restaurateur that come with the cafe, but these children with the new thick hair styles just haven't grown on me. Are the klickies actually bigger, or is it just their hair?

I think the waiter's short sleeves make him seem less sophisticated/more vulnerable. They don't make me like him less; I think they give him personality.
