Golden 'swan' knight question
« on: January 13, 2012, 22:22:52 »
Still sorting and yet another question.
I have at least two of the golden knights (swan knights), one has the old gold coloured armour and one the brighter gold armour.
Could anyone tell me which sets (3024, 3372 or 3654) they belong in.
http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-00-4400
Also do they all have the same hair?  The brighter gold one had gold coloured hair whan I got him, but has someone else added that?
Thought that the leg armour on the brighter one was different, but realised that someone had put them on the wrong way round
Thanks again for any help

Its the good old gold colour shade argument again
It can be a headache Elaine, but I found out that 3645 had only the old colour...
Both 3372 and 3024 had the brighter gold armour...

It interesting to find out when the different colours were used...
3645 was produced between 1993 and 1998... the old dull gold shade was used during that time, while the brighter (or shiny) was used after 2000.... so maybe there are some 3024s with a dull gold shade since the set was produced between 1999-2003, but the 3372, produced between 2002-2005, was certainly bright gold.

All klikcies have the same hair and beard in these sets, so your was certainly added by its previous owner.

Hope that helps  :)

I think Panos means set 3654, not 3645 (which is the modern yacht).

The same golden knight from set 3024 comes with both shades, as I have experienced... Some early production-sets still have him in the dull gold, not the shiny one.

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

Yeap, thanks for pointing out Erwin, 3654 it is...

Thanks for confirming my hunch on the 3024 also.
