Zombies might be too scary for children, personly I am getting a bit tired of every videogame throwing zombies into it as some sort of gimmick.
Requires lots of em too, might be better to focus on scary creatures that don't rely on quantity.

Ah but PM is always 3 or 4 years behind when it comes to fads. Just look at the ghost pirates theme  :P

True, ghost pirates arent that popular though so thats why maybe it wouldnt be good to go with zombies.  They could always use skeletons for the same purpose though, with a graveyard set. Some skeletons in torn clothes that are accesoires designed specific for them.

Although a graveyard set might also be seen as controversial.

I guess PM shouldn't worry too much about what is controversial and what is not ... after all, most controversies are soon forgotten. Not giving a hoot about trends is what made PM great in the first place!

You know what would be great for the Western theme? An undertaker set + priest.

That would indeed be a great idea, and besides it fits in with the haunted mansion themw too. A hanted house needs to be excorsised for example.

that is so true - i doubt pm would ever consider zombies after the lack of success of the ghost pirates.
I do like the idea of a haunted mansion though, maybe as part of the halloween theme
