Cardensb's recent eBay score
« on: December 14, 2011, 02:02:56 »
I watched a large lot auction get no bids.  Contacted the seller and asked if he/she would consider dropping some of the larger items to lower the cost of the auction and the shipping.  To my surprise, they did and sent me a link.  Here are the photos.  Once I am done sorting through it all, some of it will be traded or re-sold to get the missing parts to the Viking Ship set.

It is missing a few pieces like 1x oar, the rudder, the lower spar, some rope, the pieces used to tie the rope to the ship and the dragon head.  Lots of Viking figures though from several sets along with a few nice small accessories.  Also lots of pirate figures with accessories.  I basically doubled my pirates on display.  It looks like I will be able to do a custom blacksmith display also.

not too bad though...  :) it can always be a battle damaged viking ship until you get the parts  I love the ox cart .. I find it to be one of the most useful sets ever  ;)

Wonderful find!

May I ask what the big pieces were that you passed on?

I like these kinds of lots. Looks like you got a lot of useful parts.
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Wonderful find!

May I ask what the big pieces were that you passed on?

I passed on some play sets large bases like 3125's Supersets Knights, 3285 the Pirate Lagoon,  a few teepee's I already have basically big stuff that pushed the shipping cost up.  Clearly I ended up with most of the parts for them though.  I have been cataloging everything as I try to match up parts.

As for the Ox cart.  I ended up with most of that set.  I plan to use the cart in my Blacksmith display.  I also got the knight's prisoner cart set.  I think I will trade/sell the cage and figures but keep that cart assembly too.

"Lots of accessories" - yes, there are.  I have been able to turn a lot of duplicate klickies into new characters and fill in some missing weapons, hair, etc...
