Xmas & winter diorama
« on: December 10, 2011, 23:03:31 »
This diorama is what I have been busy with for some time   <*)

First of all I want to thank my dear friends bb and Panos for contributing with parts and unconditional support to this project and myself.

Also to my lovely ladies, Daniela and Elaine who's invaluable help made this background possible but most of all for their friendly words of encouragement.

This is dedicated to all of them.

 :xholly: Everybody enjoy!  :xholly:

That's fantastic Gaston! The background worked out beautifully
Great details there, love the lady falling back ice skating. About what I look like when I try.
The market scene is great. Looks like the unicorn may still be ill though  :(  :P

Lovely!

The first detail that stood out for me was also the woman falling back!

Love the little birds, especially the one on the snowman...

The backdrops worked great.

One word - magnificent! That is really an incredible diorama, and the effort put into this scene really shows.
Great job, Gaston! :xmascheer: <*) :rudy:

So many amazing details, Gaston! Love the lady falling back while skating, not only the pose but the outfit! All your klickys look great decked out in their winter clothes, and the backdrop is just stunning. Excellent job on that. And your snow and ice are just perfect. :snowman: How did you do the ice?

Btw, I see gabriella in there!

This is sooooo beautiful Gaston!! Such an excellent work you did with this!!! I like the notion of the ARF Lego Trouper being a toy in the playmobil world

Such an awesome diorama!!! You put us in a Christmas mood  :xmascheer: :snowman: :rudy:

Oh and I love the backdrop!! What kind of material did you printed on?

Thank you everyone for your words, I'm glad you liked it!

@Tim I LOL with your comment about the unicorn

@bb yep Gabriela is there in her winter gear , that neck piece really works for kids too. The lady falling back is the only Antex clicky that I love. The color of the dress is SO nice!! I added the scarf and hat btw.
I don't know if it shows but the ice looks exactly like frozen water. It's very simple to make but the backstage will have to wait for I'm in the middle of another Xmas project  :toot:

@Wolf glad you caught the idea of the Lego being a toy for clickies
The backdrop is printed in vinyl. It is used for street signs, adds, canopies, sunshades etc. It is very resistant, so I suppose this one will last many Xmases.

What a nice Christmas surprise, Gaston!  I have enjoyed looking at all the pictures over and over again and see something different each time.  I especially like the yellow house with the wreath on the door.     Thanks so much Gaston.
