Multible Indian tribes.

Considering that Indians, along with construction workers and knights, where of the first themes, it might be nice to bring back a new batch of them, in a completely new way.

Instead of being pitted against cowboys, they are pitted against different Indian tribes, allowing children to become more aware of native americans and learn that not all Indians lived in tipi's.

At least two, perhaps more tribes could be included in this. It would require some good research to find tribes that could be portrayed with playmobil and are very different from each other due to hairstyles, build style, warpaint, etc.
Some weaponry and objects of the stone age theme could be used again I am sure.

At least this gives them the chance to make an original indian village set instead of doing the same thing yet again.. The tipi could still be featured in a smaller set, but the village could be wooden huts.

Aside from the usual sets: Indian village, individual indian house with family, hunting party with bisons, shaman, they could also make a waterfall set with a hidden cave behind the waterfall where clickies can hide.

I agree it would be nice to have at least generic Eastern, Southwestern, and Plains Indians  ...those would be easy... only the eastern Indian longhouses would even need a new mold and they could probably come us with something fairly easily.... they could reuse the Egyptian house... perhaps cast in a more adobe color for the southwestern Indian house... and use the Teepee again for the plains Indians.

I really should mock-up some of these... will put that on my to-do list :)
Someday, I will organize my stuff, I promise.

Sounds like a good idea, maybe they could also use a somewhat modified version of the eskimo house for some wooden huts? I believe some tribes would build round huts in a similar shape.

This would be really great...some historically accurate tribes instead of the hodge-podge generic indians we have now. different styles of clothing would be nice. Some of the tribes from warmer climates could have loin cloths. We have jungle natives in loin cloths, so why not? But even the colors used in the clothing, the symbols they use, it would be nice if they were accurate to certain tribes.

Another thing is some of the plains tribes were nomadic, but there were other indian tribes who farmed, and this could be depicted in maybe an eastern tribe.

In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.

Definatly, there is a lot of potential for indians once Geobra decides to look past the most basic depiction of indians.

Seeing how they even had both southern and western soldiers for the western theme, why not have differing indian tribes as well?
