An evening spent repairing power clips
« on: December 11, 2011, 09:40:54 »
Me and Jack were bored yeterday evening, so we got out my big box of broken track connector clips, and spent the evening making some good ones out of them.

It's amazing how the quality of soldering differs between them, and also the variety of different parts used for the same purpose.

But from what I can work out is that those sets sold in the UK, must have had the parts shipped in, and then assembled in this country, although these shipped in parts do differ from those in Germany.

 Sounds like you and Jack had an enjoyable evening, Damo.   ;D  I think I will put soldering on my list of things to learn in the New Year!  :yup:

He's not a Playmobil collector himself (saying that, he does have a small collection) but he does share my enthusiasm, so that's good ;)

We like to work on electronics and mechanical projects together and it is great fun :elf:
