its pretty sweet but it has 1 minus point in my opinion.. the corners of the building should have dark brown corners (from western sets) instead of the stonewall corners. as wood it would look way more beautiful but its still ok

  Ah a good point! I shall build my second one like that if I can find some T pieces and see what it looks like. Thanks for the idea.

Maybe you could just paint those stonewall corners dark brown because I think the western connectors will still not feel right because the colour is so much lighter.

there are some dark brown western style piece with one of the old barns... the one with the guy that has the orange overalls on... though there may not be corners... there are at least some 3-way connectors that are the same dark brown as the steck wall...

  Thanks for your advice about the corners but the colour doesn't matter as the rest of the building was painted black rather than the standard brown wood, so I'd just paint the corners to match.
I've also just seen a rather nice base with a path on it that would look good in front. Yet another  thing to order from PM
