Haloween pumpkins
« on: August 09, 2006, 20:45:43 »
Just noticed that someone is selling the Haloween pumpkins on ebay at 3.99 UK Pounds each (last time I looked there was no bids and a hour to go). As these and many many many other items are not sold in the UK is that a good price or not. I would like to get them but if my plans come together I will be in Amsterdam in a few months for a mini break so could just walk to the local toyshop and pick them up. So does anyone know what the price should be on these items ??

Do you mean those new sets where there is a Halloween-themed figure inside a pumpkin-shaped egg?

I can't find the eBay listings you refer to, but I was under the impression that we will eventually get those here in the UK too. But maybe I assumed too much. ;)

Judging by the prices that Playmobil Easter eggs have retailed for in recent years, £3.99 is probably quite close to what I would expect those Halloween sets to retail for if I found them in my local toyshop. I expect they might be slightly cheaper on the European mainland though (as most Playmo generally is ;)), so, if I were you, I would probably wait and see how much they cost in Holland. :)

Hi Sylvia and thanks for your reply. Guess I will wait till my mini break to pick them up. I dont quite understand why we never get the easter or haloween specials in this country. Guess it makes hunting them down more exciting Kind regards Craig
