Thank you TJ.  As I have mentioned in earlier posts, I have plans for more departments, PT, expanded pediatrics, Interventional Radiology, and my specialty, Robotics.  I am the robotics surgery coordinator at our hospital, a rapidly growing service, and I need to enlist the help of a customizer to make a daVinci surgical robot.  Someday, when I stop working so much overtime.

Wow! I love the whole set up!!!
I have the hospital, in my office, with only one extra floor.... And _that_ took forever just to assemble  :-\ I love that you have all the units/areas that are so common and with such detail! (How long did this creation take?)
Fantastic work!  :)9

Thank you Wolf Knight and blitzbabe.  It has been quite awhile ago since I built this, and I still have plans to expand to it.  blitzbabe, I found it more effiient to go build up rather than out, as that way it has a smaller footprint in my studio on a work table, even though I have to climb on a step stool to reach the upper floors.  Have fun building yours, I am looking forward to it.

I tend to agree Kaethe, up is much easier. I managed to build the original hospital with one floor extension. That took me nearly 6 hours and left me badly traumatised.  I was hoping to use the 5012 but that is so small it can only be added on to something else.  My 4year old loves your photos, by the way.  More elbow grease to you.

Thank you psychdrk, playmoholics, blitzbabe and rom008 for your kind comments and a big thank you to the mods who have organized this new section, this must have taken quite a bit of time.

Building the hospital actually only took a few evenings in real time, but it took me quite a bit of time to plan and execute my DS order for the extra pieces as it was the one and only one I have ever done.  As you can see, I used the original floor plan of the hospital with the add-on as it works well for the space it sits in, tall, and as small of a footprint as possible.  Tucking in the extra rooms required a bit of shuffling, especially to squeeze in the scrub room in the OR, but it worked.  For me, the most fun part was furnishing the rooms, and adding the hustle and bustle of life in a real hospital with all of the klickies.  I have grand plans and more pieces to add to the hospital, expanding radiology to include an robotics surgery suite, an interventional radiology suite, as well as physical therapy and the lab.  However, time is not in my favor right now, between work and my mom's health so I have had to be content with dusting my hospital, and resetting the klickies from time to time when we have a small earthquake.  In the meantime, I get to enjoy all of the great creations on PF.
