Wonderful displays, Verity and beautifully photographed!  I had so much fun looking at the pictures (think I'll go through again!  ;D )  Thanks so much for posting them.

Excellent display set-ups, Verity, with wonderful details.  I like the "displays within the display" where you've used the Microsets.

It would be good to see you with a display at one of the exhibitions in the future.

Nice collection Verity.  If you get any more sets I think you'll have to start rotating what you can display.  Most of my kids' stuff is in the attic after the Knaresborough exhibition in February.  They are getting a bit older and don't think about it when its not about. I am wondering if it'll get out again before the next exhibition.    You'd be welcome to come along to the exhibition if you can.  Its looking like it'll be Sat 18 and Sunday 19 Feb.

Wonderful setups Verity. It must be great to have these sets ups there constantly. I wonder how you will actually change inthing in the setups as the room between the hospital table and the other dio's is very small.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
As for doing an exhibition I'm honoured you asked but it all depends on what my mum and dad say and how much work I get from college.  I'll work on them though!

I see you like IKEA  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Those IKEA tables are great.  They are just the right size that I can move them myself and being small they are very versatile.  I can make virtually any shape I want and that's something I wouldn't be able to do with say just two very large ones.  They are also easy to assemble and fairly cheap.  Just what I want.   ;)

Never fear!  If I'm careful I can drag the hospital out of the way a bit but I can fit in the gap and sit down although it's a case of no sudden movements.     Similarly there's a gap behind the mansions that's just big enough for me and the vacuum cleaner which is useful! My bedroom is a different story however.  It may have something to do with the fact there are 5 mansions in there  8} (maybe I should start a competition who can spot them all because seriously some have become like items of furniture-I don't notice them there anymore. ) Anyhow I have had many bruises on my leg from walking into the corner of the table and I frequently swipe something off with my jacket.   :-[  I have to warn my friends not to touch and be careful.   ::)

Thanks again everyone.  Glad you like it.

:yup:
Its cardboard with a policeman interrupting a burglar at the museum.  I got that one a roman one, a fireman and one advertising easter eggs when I was allowed into the Stockholm of my local toystore but I gave the fireman to Gordon, Damo got the roman and the egg was used at Kirkbean.

Dear  me  :-[ :-[ :-[I have just noticed a very embarrassing error.  I really need to pay more attention to my automatic spell checker or find I way of turning it off-it doesn't even recognise my own name and tries to change Damo to damp everytime!   ::)  I'm sorry it should say stockroom'    :-[

Verity,

An interesting use of the new 5302 grande mansion kitchen in the Victorian house! Looks great! I love the way you mix modern and old in the same setting! In the UK we saw so many very old homes and buildings with modern cars and people that it took a bit to get used to it.

We don't have that many really old buildings in the US. They tend to build things so fast that most structures do not hold up well over time and end up getting torn down. We say that they build with "short nails," and that is why they fall apart. Most houses here are really poorly constructed compared to European standards with thick walls and doors, etc.

We love Ikea, too! When we were designing and building our home 13 years ago, we selected  beech cabinets with glass doors; they arrived in about 80 boxes with at least 50,000 parts to assemble. After all that work by Hubby, it is good that we still like them because they will be here for the rest of our lives if we have any say.

Too bad Ikea does not offer miniature furnishings for a doll house the same scale as PM!

Thanks for the fantastic photos of your setups, Pgal

After two decades of male toys (esp. Lego and PM) in our house, it is time to build something for us women!
