Lots of additions
« on: September 29, 2011, 20:28:10 »
I've grown my Playmobil collection recently.  Yes, I will take pictures. But for now I have a problem.  I have the Modern House 3965: http://www.playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showinv.pl?set=3965 and I'm missing a few parts.  I've gone to PM DS for a few, but they're sold out of a bunch of it.  I've also been looking on eBay for a long time now to find them, but I can't seem to find any.  Does anyone have any spare parts for that house laying around?  Thanks!

I've picked up the take along police station, which I love...so I got the larger most recent police station :)  couldn't help it.  It's still in the box, but I have my kids this weekend, so I'm sure it will get played with.  Perhaps I should do a "review" of it...

;D  That's very true!  Every weekend when the kids come over they seem to get more Playmobil.  When their mom comes to pick them up, they give her the tour of the new stuff.  She grew up with Playmobil as well, so she gets how cool it all is.  The kids actually keep their 5300 fully loaded Victorian Mansion at their moms house.  But at my place, they have all the Egypt sets and figures, the Modern House and all the new house sets...the ones for the new grand mansion.  The police stations I mentioned.  The police car.  The Old Pirate Ship, with the lion on the sail.  Two of the black with red sails pirate ships.  The red submarine.  The forest lodge.  The beach super set.  the 3666 and the 3668 (i think) castles.  The exploration boat.  The big air plane.  The red raft...came with two scuba guys i think.  The jousting set.  The ice cream parlor super set.  The yellow beach patrol boat.  The medical rescue helicopter.  And TONs of figures.  I want to get the hospital some day and I would LOVE to get some of the western stuff.  I think it's more for me than them, but we all play together with it.

Sorry that I can't help you out with any parts for the modern house.   :(

Have you posted a list of the parts (elsewhere on this site) that you need to see if anyone has them?

Sounds like a wonderful collection and some very lucky kids!

The modern house is a great set...it was my first PM house when I began collecting last Christmas. There are quite a few used ones on eBay and often listings of parts.

And folks on this forum have a lot of spare parts in case you have not noticed. So feel free to ask around for those that you need. Good luck, Pgal
