3803 Western Postal Stagecoach
« on: May 24, 2006, 15:43:54 »
I have this stagecoach and all 4 horses, but am only able to attach 2 horses because one of the coupling pieces is missing. :(

I've checked PlaymoDB and found numbers for some other parts I need for that set, but this particular part is not listed there.

If someone has the instructions for this set, I would be grateful to know the number for the part. I've indicated on the attachment which one it is (sorry the pic is so small). :)

Hey Sylvia,

Is this the part you need?

No, I already have that part. ;)

I've probably called it by the wrong name but couldn't think what else it would be called. :-[

It's the slightly bigger piece which clicks onto that part. It has four loops for the horse harnesses to attach to - not to be confused with the similar looking (but longer) piece that clicks directly to the stagecoach itself and holds the other pair of horse harnesses.

I've circled it in blue on the set's back picture, but I see that it's not very clear. :-\

Richard has since come to my aid with his wealth of knowledge regarding stagecoach parts. ;D

The thing I need the number for is apparently known as a double singletree! :)

Doh - it is perfectly clear, just that I got ahead of myself and posted the wrong part without looking more carefully at the image!  :-[

Anyway, I see Gassy has posted the right part number, which in a way is only fitting since the instructions I have for that set came from him originally! :D
