Yes, just straight nail polish, and I used the nail polish brush that comes with it. Those brushes are already made for delicate painting!

Fantastic! Now I know that if I ever need glossy black or white paint I can use regular nail polish. Thanx for the tips!

...they dont look thick or hand-painted at this scale  :)
...let's see which of his soldier's toe nails PrimusP will be painting black or white  ;)
(I did use nail polish for my Tamiya racing cars' rear lights etc)
