In the three years I have been collecting Playmobil, I am up to 827 sets.  Although most of them are the one to three figure sets.

So 1000 is quite a lot from my point of view. I'm currently somewhere about 450 (although I have an overview page it's not up to date with my latest buys) and with this must state, that my collection seems not that large (although I'm started collecting since April 2005) ...  :-\

1000 sets are a lot of sets to collect. I've been collecting for more than thirty years and I don't quite have 3000 sets yet. I figure that I've averaged just a bit less than 100 sets per year ...  8}

They must absolutely love Surfergirl at her local toy store ...  :klickywink:

At first I too thought that it was about the amount of set Playmobil has made. Later realizing that at least 1 zero has to be added.

It also made me wonder how many set's I've got. And maybe I'm missing 1 or 2, my total comes to 427 (including ds Add ons etc.) I don't have it on paper, but use excell and it also includes a list of parts which I want to order, a list of sets I still want.

When I bought my 2nd Playmobil set, I kept a series of spreadsheets for each theme.  I do not recall my 1000 set, but I currently have 1,092 sets with 2,280 klickys.
