Regarding "rare" sets on eBay..... If the seller does not provide a picture of the actual item you are bidding on be VERY careful. There are a truckload of people selling "NIP" [new in package] sets - especially in the Victorian theme. How a person can have 10 Victorian kitchens that are "NIP" without boxes is a mystery to me....
I have researched certain sellers and
know that they are somehow repackaging loose bits and calling them new. It's amazing to me that people pay as much as they do for some items
I have sold sets that were purchased as add-ons and packaged in bags. I always show a pic of the actual item and make it very clear in the description that the item is
bagged and
new. An example is the Medieval house - 7109. I recently sold one on eBay and provided pics of the item as well as the actual Playmobil product number.
All I can say is WATCH OUT!!!
