Thank you so much dear Friends  :*) :**:

It is so good to be back  :yippee:

Just like Martin, I have been a fan of Sherlock Holmes for ever and a day and for those of you who will visit London this year, I recommend a meal at the wonderful Sherlock Holmes Pub on Northumberland St ( Tel: 020 7930 2644 ) is a gem of a Pub and a living museum to Conan Doyle's famous Detective...

The food is delicious and their collection of beers is second to none  :**:

Following the movie, I have ordered the Sherlock Holmes collection starring Jeremy Brett who is my favorite TV Sherlock on Amazon.com for a very reasonable price and dozens of investigations that are going to keep me thrilled for weeks  :munch:

Hi Karin

Looks & sounds like a great pub but do all its patrons go under the observation microscope to dig out skeletons in ones closets  :lens:

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Good to see you back Karim and with another excellent diorama! I am also a great Sherlock Holmes fan and had been ambivalent about the new movie since I consider Jeremy Brett the best Holmes, but everyone's comments regarding the movie has softened my opinion.

Bonjour Gepetto

I agree with you on the fact that no one even get close to Jeremy Brett when it comes to Sherlock Holmes and the movie aims to please the 2010 audiences hence special effects...

I watched the first investigation of J. Brett this afternoon with great delight and a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon  :munch:

The Jeremy Brett series is wonderful, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it.  I haven't yet seen the new movie, but I look forward to it.
