pirates and ghost-pirates joined
« on: January 23, 2010, 18:16:21 »
in playmobil.de website the ghost-pirate family ceased to exist - http://www.playmobil.de/on/demandware.store/Sites-DE-Site/de_DE/Search-Show?cgid=Piraten  :hmm:
the ghost-pirate sets are now joined inside the pirate family.
the same is not (yet) happening in the u.s.a. site.
can this mean that the ghost-pirates are ending (no tears from me)?  ???
or can this mean that they are taking over (i would be sad)?
  ???

Hmmmmm,....it looks to me like until a new series is developed for the market place the Ghost Pirates or (Davey Jones if you please) will be dominating the pirate theme!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

I'm not clear why they put them as a separate theme in the first place, maybe just to draw attention to them.

They didn't get a different Playmo-head design on the boxes, so it's natural to me that they're now being integrated.

Maybe they're being integrated to make room on the front page for a new theme?

Still separate on the UK site, but that's quite sensible as any new theme will be out in Germany first, i.e. 2010.
