Steering round the Blue Box Cliffs, George spots the furry seamonster still at large. Fortunately there is a pirate haven nearby, known as Skull Cave.
As they approach the beach, they are hailed from the shore:
The Black Count: Welcome to our Secret Hideout, boys!
Luke: It's good to see you again, Count. Also Bosun Chavez, Tattooed Hakim, and Silent Sam Yoorai.
Luke: Now, about that "Secret" and "Hideout" bit, don't you feel that that skull above the cave mouth is a bit of a giveaway?
Count: Well I never really thought of it that way, but now you mention it... it's not very hidey, is it?
George: Nor very secret. We could see it from a mile away. It kind of draws the eye.
Hakim: Told you so.
Luke: Well never mind that now. We just got attacked by a ghost ship, and we're looking for a way to escape; they may come back any moment, and there's still the furry seamonster at large.
Count: Well it may be that my old first mate Bones here can help us. He's pointing the way into the cave, which is just the entrance to a tunnel. It comes out on the other side of this island.
Luke: Island?
Count: Yes, it's just so big it looks like a wall, but in fact it's an island, and volcanic too.
George (to Hakim): What happened to Bones?
Hakim: Better ask silent Sam.
George (to Sam Yoorai): What happened to Bones?
Sam: .....
So our band of pirates enter the dark tunnel, the Black Count leads, followed by Bosun Chavez with a torch.
Ladyarms Luke goes next, with Silent Sam muttering under his breath.
Finally into the void walks Gentleman George, with Tattooed Hakim just behind, with his monkey Einstein.
