I think I really need to open these sets when I buy them  :-[ Looking further into Gordons and Bills posts I see that I can use it on other trucks  :P Boy do I get all spun around with collecting so many themes  8} Now where the heck did I put that box  ???

Here's the mod I made.  I used the following parts as a basis:

The first pic shows the construction Unimog with the massive front-mounted winch.  The second one compares the size of the two winch mounts, the older one on the left and the current, smaller one, on the right.  The 4046 snowplough attachment fitss the current mount.  I cut off the triangular projection of the red front bumper block and the rear projections of the snowplough attachment and then glued them together with polystyrene cement.  Careful positioning was needed to get the blade to sit right when mounted.  The work needs a bit of tidying up before it's finally finished and I may paint the red block part grey to match the snowplough attachment.

    Thank you for the pictures of your custom mount. I think this is starting to make sense  :)

 The dozer has the larger mount similar to the one you showed from the older trucks

The newer trucks List will accommodate the new plow mount

The new plow has the new narrow mount which is different form the old plows

All we need to do now if find Bill a blade  :P
