My wet footed dwarf
« on: May 13, 2009, 19:19:11 »
I remember a post(on playmoboard) about making dwarfs with legs who have been broken, well I made one today. He is a bit inspired by tom bombadil  (except he shoes aint yellow :) ) He fits in my 19 century/fantasy train world ;).

It was the first time I actually cut up a figure (with my old iron saw). And I actually love doing it. Sadly I don't have many pieces to customize playmobil figures, since I buy more steck buildings and trains then actual figures.

The first leg went great but I kind of spilled glue with the second one  :speechles . It is less obvious in real life then on the picture!

I can imagine him coming out of the entrance to the McLaren's gold mine.  Nice custom.

Thanks for the comments !
Well I was actually planning a sort of mountain scenery that includes a mine, but I want to make it with grey rocks (more european, less colorado ;D) But the Mclaren rock piece only appears in set 3028 in grey, and that set seems to be pretty rare  :'(

Anyways I just bought 3x 7176 rock piece sets of ebay, so I'll have a good base to make a mountain!

I'm more partial to the light grey rock building components myself! It seems the grey sets are making a small come back, & have been reintroduced by some retail PM venders lately. My favorite set is the light grey water fall with frogs, & lilly pads  :)9!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!
