I am very open about my collection. Everyone who realy knows me, knows about my obsession.
Strangely enough, I hardly ever am asked about the why I collect. Most of the time when I tell people that I collect Playmobil, they either start about themselves having been more of a Lego-child or they start how they loved the stuff as a child themselves.
As to sharing it with others; my sister's a collector too, allthough she's got a different view on the how and why. But we do share out spoils.
Besides, when there's a world wide web you're never far from friends with the same passion
