I saw this set on Monday December 1st and considered buying it, but I thought I'd wait and think about it a little more.  (I REALLY want the Eagle knight klicky, his shield, and his flag and I'm not sure if Direct Service has them, but I have little use for the rest of the set's pieces, thus my dilemma.)

Justindo,

I have ordered the 3030 set and this knight has no special significance to me, so if you want it let me know and arrangements can be made.

Looks like we got lucky afterall.

I saw the same newsletter in my inbox that Richard reported.

My chagrin ranneth over, until I decided "maybe PM is trying to tell me something."

I ordered just the 3030, though, because in case lightning strikes twice, I don't want to be stuck with a bunch of peripheral items I ordered only to get the free shipping!

*Actually, I think PM still honors the free shipping if their botch drops you under.  But, I'm already over-spent and don't want to be the guy who finds out...

Gepetto, that's very kind of you!  If I'm unable to get the knight I'll let you know.  Thank you.

Looks like my ploy cost me a needless $6 in shipping... my package is on its way, or at least the crummy keychain (with a rain check) is.

Speaking key chains...

PM USA doesn't do a great job of rewarding repeat customers, does it?   ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Well, at least the keychains beat those "Playmobil Rummy" cards of 2006 (5 packs I have) or the fat-cannon of late 2007.  I mean, these are supposed incentivize, not bemuse!
