Pah! weak southerners!
Gordon, you have no idea regarding Southerners! I moved to SC years ago, but originally I was raised in a very mountainous northern region where snow was very common! I grew up with 4WD vehicles, & snowmobiles! When I moved to where I reside now, if the weather report even hints of snow, the population goes in to hysterics! They buy out the grocery stores, bread & milk are the first staples to disappear, & then if it dose snow even a fraction of an inch, there are numerous transportation accidents if they dare to drive! I worked 45 minutes from my home for one of my previous employers, & never missed a days work due to weather conditions! One time it snowed maybe 4 inches, I was the only person to show up to work on time in my FWD Toyota Camry, & nobody else was even there! I went to my bosses house which was less than a quarter mile away from our facility, & brought him to work! My boss laughed, & told me if I ever acquired a 4WD vehicle down here, I'd be unstopable
! I guess I'm unstopable now, 'cause I finally got a small 4WD
