Wonderful shot, Richard!
You truly are blessed to live in such a beautiful place. :)

I'm still kicking myself that I never bought one of these fantastic little planes when they were available as an add-on set at the official site. :-[

Does anyone know where I can get set 7726 in the UK for a reasonable price?

Well!  Look what I found in my basement!  (And it's not even on Collectobil (or at least not on my quick check)).  I was meticulous as a kid and it appears to have all its parts (including the old schaper instruction manual).

However, I'm really more or less joking about giving it off.  If you or somebody had a really good trade (medieval or steck).  We could arrange something.

Otherwise I guess I ought to hang on to it.  Amusingly, the price tag says it was bought at Kmart on discount for $4.75.  I think my uncle bought it for me in 1981 on one of his bargain hunts.  In those days, you could find tons of Playmobil at Goodwill stores and Kmart blue light special.

WOW! that old Schaper Racer (set 2004) sure brings back some memories!

Thanks for sharing, Tim.

All the best,
Richard

I think you ought to hang on to it. I can see you've looked after the box and the contents really well! :)

Thank you for the offer of a trade, Tim, but I don't think I have anything good enough to swap in return.

I'll keep my eyes peeled on eBay. The re-released add-on set was circa 2004, so there's gotta still be a few of them hanging about in people's homes around the UK. ;)

You never told us whether or not you ever found a little Playmobil bi-plane for yourself.

All the best,
Richard

No, I haven't bought one yet, but I'm still hoping to. :yup:

How strange. I was thinking about this myself yesterday, shortly before you posted here.
We must have a telepathic Playmobil connection. ;D

I don't think I do... or maybe I did and I've forgotten it... ? Please remind me. ;)
