Cleaning ink/pen marks

Came across this article, looks to be a rather innovative approach to cleaning inks off toys:

In a nutshell:

* coat ink stains with acne cream (10% benzoyl peroxide)
* expose affected areas to sunshine
* benzoyl peroxide in the acne cream reacts with UV and 'bleaches' the dye/pigment

I have a coulple of steck peices with ink marks that I'm going to try this method ... have to get the cream 1st though

Wow! The results of that experiment on the doll are unbelievable!

We have several plastic toys which have suffered a similar fate and (after failing to remove it with various kitchen cleaners) I assumed the ballpoint pen would be there forever.
