Richard the deer antlers are definitely different. The body and head do look like the reindeer though. Will have to get them next to each other to see for certain.

A very good and kind friend sent me the 4204 set for my birthday and the badgers are indeed wondeful! Still, even though I dont' think he's new, I didn't have the fox kit that is sitting up (on the tree stump in Jean Luc's photo) and he is simply adorable! I also didn't have the yellow birds...I'll have to go to collectobil to see if that's a new animal. The "gold stuff" looks like toadstools/mushrooms to me as they are too uniform in color for fallen leaves and too think and (not to over analyze) why would there be fallen leaves under pine trees?  ???

It's a fantastic set and I adore it!

The head is definitely different from the reindeer.  There is alot more "scruff" in the neck.

Thanks for the pics mbl.. I am now hoping for an add-on for the cabin.. the inside is certainly tiny.

Hello, Hoppatussa and Tiermann ...

You are both absolutely correct! (Looks like I may need some new glasses.) ... ;)

It is definitely neither the reindeer nor the moose body as the legs are positioned differently.

The antlers are certainly different.

And the head? It looks as though Playmobil may have created another entirely new animal!

But, what is it? Is it a huge male deer (a buck), or is it an elk? Or ... ???

I've made a line-up of the four types of deers that are in the set:
phantasy is in the mind, realisation is in my hands!

The small deer with antlers, looks almost like an antelope compared to the new large one.

Jean Luc, do you have a reindeer and a moose that you could photograph with the new large deer?

Thanks again for a really great foto display of these new sets!

All the best,
Richard

Thanks for the quick reply, Jean Luc ... I'll just have to wait until they come across the sea ... :)

All the best,
Richard
