Your conversion will star in our upcoming playmobil movie and your name will be mentioned in the credits at the end of the film.

The movie will take place in the 18th century. We need original figures for the following cast members. (Note that these are main players and no supporting cast.)

1) Katarina Schwerin - the wife of the General and lover of Jan. Should look like a beautifull lady.
2) General Igor Schwerin - a Prussian general. a bit dark sided.
3) Essa - the Tavern barmaid - Brazen and flirty - needs to look like a tart!
4) Jan - the main character dressed as an sea adventurer
5) Jan - the main character dressed as an prussian soldier

How to enter the competition:

1) Make one or more of the mentioned characters.
2) Use standard Playmobil parts, also painting is not allowed
3) Post pictures in this thread, including a list of needed parts for use to make the custom ourselfs.
4) We will select a winner for each of the five figures.
5) You'll get an email with the question of which name you want in the credits of our upcoming movie.
6) You will see your winning conversion(s) when we release the film.
7) Competion closes 15 November 2007

Good luck to you all.

Sounds quite intriguing, Marc ... :)

What part of the 1700s do y'all have in mind, as there was a fairly big costume shift from the early 1700s to the late 1700s.

Please see attachments for early, mid and late costume differences.

All the best,
Richard

Thanks for your reply, Marc ...

As you probably know, the Seven Years War was called the French and Indian War here in the Colonies ... :)

Thanks to James Fenimore Cooper's books (The Leatherstocking Tales), this is a very popular period of history in North America.

Hopefully, you will have lots of participants in your contest.

All the best,
Richard
