PFD Rescue 3's custom equipment
« on: January 29, 2019, 21:56:03 »
Hello all,

These are some pictures I've been meaning to share with you for awhile and with the "polar vortex" setting in over Ohio I didn't have anything better to do today than play with Playmobil…

I have added some custom equipment to the rescue truck allowing the crew to assist in a wide range of emergencies.

The truck is now equipped to respond to any fire, collapse or cave-in, auto accident, hazmat incident, rope rescue or water rescue.

I'll start with the first compartment on the rig.

The chain saw was updated with a depth guide to assist with cutting roofs and a K12 (demolition) saw was made up for cutting concrete, metal doors or pieces steel and metal. A K12 saw is also carried on the PFD's ladder trucks.

Forgot to flip the pictures, sorry...

Next are the cutting torches.

A Playmobil standard argon torch...

The new small one is a petrogen torch that uses gasoline and oxygen.

New lifting bags were added that are capable of lifting 10 tons and 20 tons.

Wood cribbing for use in stabilization was also cut and placed on the truck.

That's it for now, sorry the pictures are on their sides. Tried to fix it but failed miserably.
