I think it's just somebody (or somebodies) advertising their services in design and taking the Playmobil name in vain.  The copyright date on the website is 2005, but the space theme was discontinued before then and surely if there had been such a competition someone on one of the boards would have picked it up and reported it.

I think it's very possible the company were commissioned to produce a box design for NASA & Playmobil, but either it was never used or it was and we haven't heard about it.

If you check out NASA'a website, they clearly do a lot to keep the public excited and informed about what they're up to. I can easily see them trying to get Playmobil involved in providing prizes for a children's competition, and it is hopeful that it might happen again.

The three remaining Shuttles, Atlantis, Discovery and Endeavour, are being phased out in 2010, and a new era in space travel will begin. Meantime they continue to service the ISS and Hubble telescope amongst other missions.

The company's website is perezart.com.  On the home page for contact purposes there is just a 'phone number with no indication of the country, and the contact link just creates an email to a Gmail address.  Following up the .com logos gives mixed results.  Logicalmating.com is under construction (a blank page apart from the message).  Day2dayservice.com redirects you immediately to consumerwebreviews.com which has no contact details and most of the links down the side lead to blank pages.  MusicAllianceweb.com gives server not found.  Some of the other sites do exist but, for example, the flash player on the ussog site isn't the same as the one perezart show.  So I'm inclined to think that the Playmobil packaging is just a dummy for their site.  After all, would NASA use a company with no address and only a 'phone number and an email account?
