Water Pump Adaptations
« on: July 23, 2016, 08:41:23 »
Hello,  I have made some modifications to the water pump system and replaced the pump with a squeezy-bottle...

You can see in the picture.... the aim is to create enough pressure in the tanker so the water squirts for a long time!

I would be interested in any cusomisations you have made to the water system......

Hello. PlasticMan and welcome to Playmofriends!
That looks like a useful adaptation which would no doubt work with some of the fire vehicles too. Those hoses and sprayers are great, I wish i had had some as a child...
Why not introduce yourself in the 'Welcome' section?

At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)

yes, my main problem has been that the tanker truck loses pressure over time through the washer seal with the screw-top.

Playmobil already  make a pump that can be pressurised and connected to the tanker.

It's in this set:
