Coronation ceremony in Aachen
« on: December 30, 2017, 11:15:46 »
Today I went to Aachen in Germany, to collect my order of Roncalli sets and I found a really nice showcase in Galeria Kaufhof. It shows the coronation ceremony in Aachen. In the first picture you can find the text with more information. I was hoping that I could buy the set, but unfortunately the figures and setup were exclusively made for the showcase.

Many thanks for sharing an interesting piece of German and European history in Playmobil.

Nice set-up!

Is that Traveller Tim on the right, making a last-minute attempt to usurp the throne? Look out Otto!
At that moment the ship suddenly stopped rocking and swaying, the engine pitch settled down to a gentle hum. 'Hey Ford.' said Zaphod, 'that sounds good. Have you worked out the controls on this boat?' 'No,' said Ford, 'I just stopped fiddling with them.' (With thanks to Douglas Adams)
