That's what they call "Handmuster". It's not only faces. Looking closely you'll also find skirts & Co being just stickers instead of prints. But as Tahra says: Sold they'll come properly printed. Many new products are presented that way at Spielwarenmesse - not only by Playmobil.
Das sind sogenannte "Handmuster". Wenn Du genau hinsiehst, siehst Du nicht nur Gesichter sondern z.B. auch Röcke, die nur geklebt sind. Wie Tahra schon schrieb: Sie werden dann gerdruckt verkauft werden. Viele Neuheiten werde so auf der Spielwarenmesse präsentiert - nicht nur von Playmobil.
